Introduction

This privacy policy (the “Policy”) applies to Classie AI Inc, the classie.ai website, and any documents or services provided on the website (collectively, the “Services”). Classie AI, Inc. (the “Company”) is an enterprise that provides AI observability and security solutions.

As used in this Policy, “personal data” means any information that relates to, describes, or could be used to identify an individual, directly or indirectly.

Applicability: This Policy applies to personal data that the Company collects, uses, and discloses and which may include: (i) data collected through the website Services, (ii) data collected from third party sources. Third party sources may include, but not be limited to: public databases, commercial data sources, and the public internet. We do not currently collect any credit card or other financial information on our website. When payment is collected through other channels, the Company does not store the credit card or payment information You provide, only confirmation that payment was made. We do not use any data collected from You to train our models without Your explicit opt-in and consent.

This Policy does not apply to personal data about Company employees, or contractors and entities augmenting our full time workforce.

This Policy does not supersede or replace a bilateral Master Services and Data Processing Agreement entered into by the Company and a purchasing entity or corporation that uses Classie’s observability and security product.

Changes: We may update this Policy from time-to-time to reflect changes in legal, regulatory, operational requirements, our practices, and other factors. When we make changes, we will post the revised Policy on this page and update the “Effective Date” above. Please check this Policy periodically for updates.

Definitions: Through this Policy, You, or Your means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company, or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable. Company (referred to as either “the Company”, “We”, “Us” or “Our” in this Agreement) refers to the Classie AI Inc. “Usage Data” refers to data collected automatically, either generated by the use of the Service or from the Service infrastructure itself (for example, the duration of a page visit). “Summary Table” refers to the table below which describes the types of data collected and the storage, access, and deletion options available to You.

Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Notice at Collection

We provide notice of Our personal data practices — including the categories of personal data We collect, the purposes for which We use them, and the choices available to You — at or before the point at which We collect personal data. This Policy is made available where We collect personal data (for example, on Our website forms and account-registration flows), and We provide additional just-in-time notice where appropriate.

While interacting with the Services, You may provide certain personally identifiable information that could be used to contact or identify You. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

  • Your username and IP address for the Services
  • Usage Data

If We begin collecting new categories of personal data, or collecting personal data from new sources (including third-party sources), We will update this Policy to describe them and will provide notice to affected individuals at or before such collection, obtaining consent where required.

Use of Your Personal Data

We will not use Your Personal Data to train Our models without Your explicit opt-in and consent. We do not sell Your personal data.

We may use Your Personal Data for the following purposes:

  • Service & Account Management: To provide, maintain, monitor, and improve Our Service, and to manage Your user registration.
  • Contract Fulfillment: To process and fulfill purchase contracts or any other agreements You make with us.
  • Customer Support: To respond to and manage Your requests and inquiries.
  • Service Communications: To contact You (via email, phone, SMS, or push notifications) regarding necessary service, product, or security updates.
  • Marketing: To send news and promotional offers about similar products or services, unless You have opted out.
  • Business Transfers: To evaluate or execute corporate changes, such as mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, asset sales, or bankruptcies.
  • Analytics & Improvement: To analyze data and usage trends, measure the effectiveness of promotional campaigns, and enhance Our services, marketing, and user experience.

Sharing of Your Personal Data

We may share Your personal information in the following situations:

  • Service Providers & Partners: With vendors, consultants, and partners to help the Company provide, analyze, and monitor our services, contact You, or otherwise fulfill Our Agreement.
  • Business Transfers: During negotiations or completion of corporate changes, such as mergers, acquisitions, asset sales, or financing.

Use for a New Purpose

If We intend to use Your personal data for a purpose not described in this Policy at the time it was collected, We will provide You notice of the new purpose and, where required by applicable law, obtain Your consent before such use.

Data Retention, Transfer, and Security

We are committed to managing and protecting Your information responsibly:

  • Retention: We keep Your Personal Data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Usage Data is generally kept for a shorter period, unless required for legal compliance, security enhancements, or functional improvements.
  • Transfer: We currently process all of Your data within the USA. It is, however, conceivable that Your data may be processed and stored outside Your state or country, where data protection laws may differ from Your jurisdiction. By submitting Your information, You consent to this transfer. We ensure adequate security controls are in place before transferring Your data to any other organization or country.
  • Security: We implement commercially acceptable safeguards to protect Your Personal Data. However, because no internet transmission or electronic storage method is entirely foolproof, We cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

Our Service is not for minors and We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from minors. If You are a parent or guardian and You are aware that Your child has provided Us with Personal Data, please Contact Us at privacy@classie.ai. If We become aware that We have collected Personal Data from anyone under the age of 13 without verification of parental consent, We will endeavour to remove that information from Our servers.

Our Service may contain links to other websites that are not operated by Us. We strongly advise You to review the Privacy Policy of every site You visit from Our website. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third party sites or services.

Supplemental Terms and Conditions for Certain Regions

EEA, Switzerland, and the UK

If You are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland, or the UK, the following applies to Your Personal Data:

  • Legal Basis for Processing: We only collect and use Your data when We have Your consent, need it to perform a contract with You, have a legal obligation to do so, or have a legitimate business interest that does not override Your fundamental privacy rights.
  • International Transfers: When We share Your data with third parties outside of Your region, We protect it using legally approved mechanisms, including European Commission-approved standard contractual clauses and other appropriate safeguards.

California

This section applies solely to California residents or individuals whose information was collected in California, in compliance with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA).

Sale of Personal Information

The Company does not sell Your Personal Information. If this practice changes in the future, We will notify You and provide You with the right to opt-out.

Your CCPA Rights

You have specific rights regarding Your Personal Information:

  • Access & Data Portability: You can request details about our collection and use of Your data over the past 12 months. Upon verifying Your request, We will disclose: the categories and specific pieces of data collected, the sources, our business purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties We shared it with (including separate lists for data sold or disclosed for business purposes).
  • Deletion: You can request that We (and our service providers) delete Your Personal Information, subject to certain limited legal exceptions. If We must deny Your request, We will notify You promptly.
  • Opt-Out of Sale: You have the right to opt out of the sale of Your data at any time (though, as noted, We do not currently sell Your data).

How to Exercise Your Rights

To submit a verifiable consumer request for access, portability, deletion, or to opt-out, please email us at privacy@classie.ai.

  • Requirements: Your request must provide sufficient detail for us to understand it and enough information for us to reasonably verify Your identity. We cannot fulfill Your request if We cannot verify Your identity or authority.
  • Frequency: Access and portability requests are limited to twice within a 12-month period.
  • Who Can Request: You may make a request for Yourself, on behalf of Your minor child, or via an authorized agent registered with the California Secretary of State.
  • No Account Needed: You do not need to create an account to make a request. Any data provided during the request process will only be used for verification purposes.
